------------------------------------------------------------------------ BACKSTORY ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Quicksilver was born in a kingdom called Ara. The aristocracy knew about a bunch of cats (born simultaneously) with special powers. She was one of them. They thought that it was some kind of curse (because the Aran aristocracy is incredibly paranoid) and sought to keep them all under their sight. Of course they couldn't because not all of them were born in Ara. The only others born in Ara were Stibium and Cuprum, who were actually of royal blood. Quicksilver was given a job in the army, despite being only 12 at the time, but the Aran aristocracy really didn't care. One day, Stibium decided he wanted to escape this incredibly boring life and do something else. Cuprum agreed. Quicksilver was kind of forced into agreement. As the siblings escaped, though, Quicksilver was captured. Commander Kenn decided he had had enough of their scheming and plotting and came clean. He told Quicksilver the secrets of the Aran aristocracy, and how they were all one being... But that one being found out. Kenn was killed and Quicksilver was turned over to the dark-side. She became super ruthless and cruel, her only goal being to destroy the other alchemical cats. She met Apeiron, and at first, they formed an alliance. But Apeiron got jealous of Quicksilver's edginess and ran off, giving her that scar. She also met Brimstone, whom she formed another alliance with, and she still has. She also met Salt, who immediately wanted to work with her because she'd had an encounter with some of the other alchemical cats and had immediately hated them. Quicksilver is completely transformed, but there is one layer underneath all of that, maybe a bit corrupted, but not that much, is the longing to make Stibium and Cuprum feel PAIN for leaving her behind... -------------------------------------------------------------------------
