The 1980s was a turbulent time for the automotive industry(at least when it came to style), with cars that were former shells of their old selves, like the AMI Virgo, and on the other hand you had stuff like the SEV Daga and Messer Sigma that pushed boundraries and defied speed limits. The Epaulet was on that other hand. The original Epaulet was not a dignified decoration like it's name suggests, it was a brash monster built for rallying, and in a bold, shocking move, SEV engineers made the car RWD, unlike it's Percenti competitors with AWD. The SEV Epaulet was a great car, in fact it was the last RWD car to win the SORC, but eventually, as all books do, production came to an end, and the Epaulet was no more.
