Description

NOT RECOMMENDED TO USE FULLSCREEN V3.4.3 CHANGELOG • Reduced rare death animation 1/256 chance to 1/25 chance (it somehow is still incredibly rare) V3.4.2 CHANGELOG • Added rare death animation for zombies (it's a 1/256 chance to get it!). This update could be considered kinda major since it took a long while to finish. • Reduced hit camp for plants by a bit to improve detection V3.2.1 CHANGELOG • Fixed negative sun count (in a way, atleast it doesn't stamp a black box in the lawn) V3.2 CHANGELOG • Fixed pitch calculation • Zombies are a bit faster now (buff) • oh god i need to nerf the repeater V3.1 (major) CHANGELOG • Lawnmowers finally despawn if active and on the right end of the screen (you can't lose yet anyways though) • Nerfed plant rate (plants can be slower, pretty much buffing zombies) • Updated seed bank seed drawing • Aligned seed cost text a bit • Added random pitch to sun and projectiles V2.9 (major) CHANGELOG • Fixed Snow Pea's peas (mostly, still kinda buggy) • Added 2 new zombie types (conehead and buckethead) • More bug fixes • Certain plants are instantly charged at stage start (to be accurate) • You can now press 'R' to recollect sun (kinda minor and unneeded though) • Seed packet recharge time is now more accurate to the original game V2.7 CHANGELOG • Fixed pea behavior • Fixed Repeater's behavior • Fixed other major playability bugs that I didn't notice • Added explosion effects for Cherry Bomb and Potato Mine • I've hidden a cheat; let's see if you can find it. V2.4 CHANGELOG • Fixed timer for zombies to spawn • Fixed all of the bugs listed below V2.3 (major update) CHANGELOG • More minor bugfixes • Added Snow Pea, Chomper and Repeater; those conclude the full packet of Daytime plants (Frozen zombies become darker to show they're frozen, because Scratch has no color blending, yet) • Zombies without heads no longer appear again when charred; zombies turn black and disappear after a few seconds instead. Zombie bodies also disappear when charred, to make those both aspects more accurate to the original game. • Now supports up to 10 seed packets • Peashooter plants' firing rate is a little quicker now • Relocated seed packet cost text 1 pixel further to make it look better CURRENT ISSUES • Plants can't get hit (probably something to do with hit detection) • Plants detect zombies incorrectly at times, making them shoot when there's no zombie in their lanes at times • Shovel can't shovel (FIXED) • You can place two plants on the same place (needs to be precise) and outside of the lawn • Lawnmowers dont disappear when they go outside the screen, making that lane not able to produce zombies without them dying (FIXED) • Pea splats keep moving by no reason (and dont despawn, they cant interact though) if they dont disappear when the zombie falls into the ground (FIXED) • Plant can be planted again if clicked on before it charges fully (FIXED) • Pea behavior still kinda buggy • Plant eating may also have its issues • Conehead zombie drops a bucket instead of a cone when its headwear falls (FIXED) V2 CHANGELOG: • Added shovel • Added init message • Added lawnmowers (you cant lose yet, for now) • Added sound effects • Minor bugfixes TO DO • Fix all the issues above (obviously) • Add game over animation (zombie reaches the house) • Re-add shadows (it was buggy and wasted processing power so I left it unused) • Add more types of zombies • Complete the sound effects Enjoy the beta remake! :))))
