Hello, and welcome to my DTA for 300 followers! (yes I know its not exactly something to write home about,,,) These adopts are a bit more special than typical ones I would put out; mostly because they are a closed species (meaning you can't make your own, you can only get one from me!) called Halo Gryffins. Large amounts of species lore aren't necessary; however what you do need to know is that their halos are very important, and indicate their status. These are all single-halo Halo Gryffins, which means you CANNOT draw them with more than one halo, but also that you MUST draw them with their halo, that is not an optional part of their design. That's pretty much the only rule about this DTA (besides, of course, not stealing artwork or claiming the design/species as your own), but here are some things that may improve your chances of winning: TRY THIS!: ➢ Multiple entries! You may enter for multiple designs or just one; regardless the amount of artwork you include will increase your chances. ➢ Stick as close to the designs as possible - Is their mane floofy? Are their tail feathers large? How about their wings? Assume all markings are symmetrical, and I'll leave all undisclosed areas to your imagination. ➢ Stick to the personality displayed! I've tried to demonstrate at least a little about their personalities via the lineart, and your work will have greater merit if you are as accurate as possible to how they are portrayed. ➢ Shading your entries makes them look better. Just saying. ➢ Animating your entries also makes them look better, and shows a lot of effort was put into your work! ➢ Adding complex backgrounds would be great, bonus points if they correlate to the lore of Halo Gryffins (you can read the info sheet I've linked for more!) Bios are not required but will give you some bonus points if they’re well thought-out/well-written! PLEASE DO NOT: ➢ Tell me you're entering. Great! Lovely! I don't need to know this; I'll see your entry if you remix this project. ➢ Bash other people's artwork - or your own. Your artwork is lovely and you don't need to put yourself down! Similarly, other people's artwork is lovely and you don't need to put them down either. ➢ Complain/throw a fit about not winning. There will only be one winner for each design, and I'm sorry you couldn't win! It doesn't mean that you aren't a good artist, and it doesn't mean that the other artist is better than you, rather, its a matter of my own personal opinion. Violating these won’t get you kicked but I’ll look at your entry a little harsher. Take that as you will.
