Description

My violin teacher showed me this diagram as a way to help me visualize the relationship between the keys and modes of music theory. I thought it would be cool to animate it using Scratch. To use it just slide the sliders and press play. For this project I developed a snapping slider that other Scratchers may want to borrow. I've also added some interface design niceties: buttons change their appearance when clicked; clickable sprites have a consistent look; and important parts of the stage stand out. I still need to add the key signatures. And in future versions I hope to add diagrams that show the fingering for piano, violin, and guitar. The sheep button will have songs. Much thanks to Joseph Prusch, my violin teacher, and master Scratcher Jasper, my Scratch mentor.
