Yass I finally finished my big entry for this! it's not perfect but it was still fun to do :D (it's #2 by the way) Space for next 1. Red (character: Zeina from Emara: Emirates Hero) (don't worry it's just paint and lipstick lol yep) 2. Rainbow (characters: Ali and Omar from Emara: Emirates Hero) This is one that I spent like 5-6 hours on... trying to take notes on a set of videos about painting portraits... and then I was cut off from them bc you have to pay after a certain time window ;w; iridescent/reflective stuff has always been fun but challenging to me, I saw an opportunity to practice in the rainbow hues here while also creating some cool clothes and a piece for Pride Month! (yes, according to the creator of the show, Ali and Omar are official) Unfortunately, I screwed up the most on their eye placement/shape, I'll have to pay more attention to that next time. Full res here, it looks a bit better: https://sta.sh/021qdy7gphnk 3. Grey (character: Sultan from Emara: Emirates' Hero) Another doodle - both in appearance and personality, Sultan seems to fit the description of an "angel boy"... Officially, he wears almost all white (for the sake of contrast, I gave him a darker layer of clothing on top here), and he's basically a dorky cinnamon roll >w< too bad he doesn't always know what the right thing to do is - maybe that angelic demeanor is a little ironic then? 4. Aqua (character: Dhabian [alter ego of Sultan] from Emara: Emirates Hero) Practicing my lineless art; this aesthetic seemed to be pushing for defiance/rebellion, and a lot of the colors matched up with Dhabi's costume, so I figured I'd go for it! You'll probably get this a bit more if you watch the series, though. He gotta get out .o. 5. Baby Pink (character: Moza from Emara: Emirates Hero) Ahhhhh shiny soft things xD I didn't really like how the bottom pink fabric turned out, but the part between the arms I'm pretty happy with! Anyway can you tell I don't know how to draw feet lol 6. Yellow (character: Maitha from Emara: Emirates Hero) I love all of Maitha's energy in the show, she definitely feels like a ray of sunshine! This is a version of her younger self as portrayed by Fatima Almheiri, with a couple alterations to the color palette.
