Happy Pride Month, everyone! ♡ o(≧∇≦)o I was inspired this year to make a project celebrating Pride Month! Originally, I wanted to draw all my favourite LGBTQ+ characters from films, TV shows, books and games. But then I'd have to draw like the entire cast of She-Ra (Catradoraaaaa!!!!)....and all my faves from all Milk Morinaga's manga I've been reading (Kisses, Sighs and Cherry Blossom Pink!!!)......and there's so much good LGBTQ+ anime I've been watching (Bloom into You!! Wandering Son!!).....and ahhhh I love drawing but I need my spare time for other stuff too ya know??!! So, I just settled on this pair: the Vocaloid virtual idol Hatsune Miku and the Minecraft character Herobrine. Neither is actually strictly ""canon"" LGBTQ+ - rather, it's online communities that have dubbed them so, with the recent "trans icon herobrine but with better pants" and "miku created minecraft / miku says trans rights" memes going around. I found this super wholesome, as much of it rose up in response against Minecraft creator Notch's transphobic comments. Hence, mikumiku_ebooks' iconic tweet: "i created minecraft". Thanks Miku!! Then we also have the amazing "trans icon herobrine but with better pants" - a Minecraft skin created by user anon1449, the amazing sequel to "trans icon herobrine". We stan a legend. Anyway!!
