Hnngg... knocked this out in two hours... better to get it done really ridiculously fast vs taking absolutely forever, amiright? Nonetheless, I'm really proud of this!! Thought I couldn't animate and proved myself wrong. I simplified my style a tad for it here- I don't trust myself with drawing my regular style, oh god- and I think it looks fine! After finishing the whole animation, I realized I forgot Auris' second eyes- you know, the key part of her design? Went back, fixed it, and then realized I forgot Antic's eyebrows. So I went back, fixed THAT, realized I forgot Checkmate's back spikes- dang, I'm on a roll with these mistakes- and realized that I hadn't saved a MDP file for his animation bit. Therefor, I can't edit the frames- guess they're staying like this, lol I always like animating Auris, because she's the 'default' for my style and I'm really connected to her, so it's fun. But it was definitely a challenge to animate Antic- he's not made for animation in the slightest, god forbid I animate him in color- and it was okay to animate Checkmate. Wouldn't do it again, but a good experience. I think I'll start joining more MAPs! I've definitely missed animation. I think I'll stick to lineart ones for now, though, and of course, I'll keep doing my PMV ones. I think with practice, my animation could look really good- it's really sketchy and kinda nasty now, but I suprised myself with this MAP part. If you're wondering, all the characters in this MAP part are my various sonas!
