Wooperdeedoo! Another DMACE! So this is Jekyll. He lives is a world where the conditions have become almost too much for life. He was assigned with the task of creating a serum to make them stronger and so get through the extinction. He studied the biochemistry of tardigrades (the toughest life-forms known) and created a serum that he called the Tardigrade Serum. It was quickly issued to the remaining population. But, Jekyll had overlooked one puny covalent bond between two atoms, and the serum mutated into something much worse. It turned Jekyll's people into monsters, both physically and mentally. Even one drop was enough to trigger the change. Jekyll had taken none, as he didn't want to survive the extinction cuz some science reason. One day, the monsters charged Jekyll's laboratory to feast on the others there. In doing so, they spilled over some of the Tardigrade Serum. Trying to escape the chaos, Jekyll slipped in said puddle and the Serum got into him. A few days later, the first signs of infection showed, and Jekyll had his personal robot amputate all his legs and replace them with an inert metal. Unfortunately he couldn't save his eye. He now lives on the run on his planet, avoiding all the monsters who now run across the surface. Now no living thing other than the ones infected by the Tardigrade Serum (this includes Jekyll) can live on the planet's surface. Other races are warned to steer clear of the planet now known as Hyde. Whoof! That was fun! Hope you like him! I'll probably keep him if he doesn't win.
