Press play, wait for the planets to load (about 30 seconds) and watch as the six empires colonise and invade planets. Will reset five seconds after an empire controls the entire map.
You can use turbo mode for a different experience (won't speed up loading). Fleets may be sent between planets to act as convoys, to colonise or to invade. Empires are programmed to maximise total resource production.
