(By some Scratchers' definitions, you could also call this a "meme.") Yes, the girl and boy in this ARE myself and my bro. I (@StevenTheSquare) had started progress on this in mid senior year of high school, and decided to return to it with the new sound editor. It involves a detailed pixel-art self-portrait in a few places, and my standard pixel people in most places. It's kinda a rant / vent tbh. A LOT of work went into this, so I really hope you guys enjoy. Sorry it cuts off so abruptly. If I made it any longer, it wouldn't load on slow computers or mobile devices. The song is "Stressed Out" by Twenty-One Pilots. The code, art, and ideas are by me. I learned from my successes and hardships with my last AMV and MAP. So, I started by taking the lyrics and breaking dem up into chonks (thanks, new sound editor!). Then I came up with ideas for what each chonk could be. Then, using the new sound editor, I split the song into said chonks, and wrote down how long each one was. Then I put a bunch of broadcasts, each one with a corresponding song chonk. I've got several sprites going on that react to those broadcasts. And ta-daaaaa: an AMV. The pixel self portrait was based on a photo I had a friend take for me. That's probably the closest thing y'all will ever get to a photographic face reveal. Want to see some of my other work?
