[ Featured on 3/21/2019 ] I can really understand why this got featured compared to my previous project that also got featured a while back, that one is Pen Platformer https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/155448384/ I honestly was shocked, expecting a normal day opening to 50-100 messages..... and I see 1000. *Freaks out* Anyway, I REALLY appreciate the feature, and the constant support, and I won't write another essay in my notes/credits about thanking you guys. seriously, I would need to write 10 essays to truly thank you guys, which I can't. All advertising comments will be deleted INSTANTLY. #Savage ~ (Yes, I wrote that before too XD) Please leave a love, favorite, and follow me @23ScratchMan Also, please DO remix! I want to see awesome remakes of games and other creative levels! How To Use is down below ↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓ This is an easy to use Scrolling Platformer creator so you can also create your own scrolling platformer. This Project was mainly made to help other people make more Scrolling Platformers. Instructions: Arrow Keys and WASD are both supported Don't fall down. Credits: 100% Coding - @23ScratchMan Engine Inspired by @griffpatch_tutor Level Art - @23ScratchMan Cat Art - @griffpatch HOW TO USE: I tried to make things as EASY as possible for you. All you have to do is: Change the level design and level hitboxes. 1) Go to the sprite named "Level ART" 2) Delete all the previous placed level art costumes 3) Design as many new levels as you want. 4) Go to the sprite named "Level HITBOX" 5) Delete all the previous place level hitbox costumes 6) Go to "Level ART" and drag EACH costume IN ORDER from the ART sprite to the HITBOX sprite > So now you should have two sprites (Level ART, and Level HITBOX) >> These two sprites have the EXACT same costumes inside them, in the EXACT same order >>> If this is the case, then you may continue. If not, delete all the HITBOX costumes and recopy them from ART again. Make sure to do it in order. 7) In the HITBOX sprite, switch to Bitmap (If you haven't already) 8) Select the FILL BUCKET tool and choose the TRANSPARENT color. This is the square in the bottom left corner with a white square and a red line through it 9) Go through EACH costume and click the blue background, making it transparent and have that white/grey checkerboard pattern. > Also, use the select tool to select art that shouldn't be collided with. >> NOTE: The different color cats at the end are in the ART sprite, but are removed in the HITBOX sprite, That way you go right past them. Use this feature to make trees and bushes or whatever to make the level look good, and you don't collide with them. 10) Test play the level. >If all steps were done correctly, you shouldn't have any problem. >> If you do have a problem, and don't know why, you can still share your remix and people can check it out to see what the problem is End of Instructions. ------------------------------------------------- Engine Created by @23ScratchMan
