Fireheart approaches her and runs up to her. The camera zooms in on Cinderpaw's face as she closes her eyes, struggles to open them back up, and then closes them again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part One: "Trying to hold my breath." Cinderpaw is in the medicine den, breathing hard. Yellowfang flashes her a sympathetic smile. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Two: "Let it stay this way, can't let this moment end." Cinderpaw looks toward her broken leg, which is tied up with leaves. Her face fills with sadness as she rests her head on her paws forcefully. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Three: "You set off a dream in me." Yellowfang walks over to where Cinderpaw is resting and lays down next to her solemnly. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Four: "Getting louder now, can you hear it echoing?" Cinderpaw opens her eyes and looks up at Yellowfang. Yellowfang touches her forehead to Cinderpaw's. Will you share this with me? 'Cause darling without you.." Yellowfang nudges Cinderpaw up with her muzzle. Cinderpaw wobbles on three legs, and Yellowfang presses her body to the apprentice's so she can regain her balance. Cinderpaw rubs her head under Yellowfang's chin. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Six: "All the shine of a thousand spotlights, all the stars we steal from the night sky.." Yellowfang and Cinderpaw sit next to each other as they sort herbs. Cinderpaw picks up a bundle of leaves and smiles at Yellowfang, who smiles back. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Seven: "Will never be enough, never be enough." Still holding the herbs in her mouth, Cinderpaw looks over to Brackenpaw, who has entered the camp with Graystripe. Brackenpaw has a mouse in his mouth. Cinderpaw's frowns as she looks back at Yellowfang. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Eight: "Towers of gold are still too little.." Cinderpaw and Yellowfang step toward the Moonstone. Yellowfang smiles as she points her head to the stone. Cinderpaw looks at it and frowns slightly. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Nine: "These hands could hold the world, but It'll never be enough, never be enough.." Cinderpaw looks determined as she touches the Moonstone with her muzzle. She sees StarClan for the first time, her eyes wide. Cinderpaw touches noses with Silverstream. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Ten: "For me. Never, never. Never, never.." Cinderpaw watches as Cloudkit runs around the medicine den playfully. She laughs, but sees Brackenpaw having a mock battle with Fireheart. She closes her eyes and lowers her head. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Eleven: "Never.. for me, for me.." Cinderpaw and Yellowfang are traveling to the Moonstone. We see the background change from ThunderClan, to RiverClan, to ShadowClan, and to WindClan. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Twelve: "Never enough, never enough.." Cinderpaw sees the mountains and looks up. She steps closer to Yellowfang, feeling small. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Thirteen: "Never enough.. for me, for me." As they reach the Moonstone, Yellowfang nods to Cinderpaw. She touches muzzles with her apprentice, who is now Cinderpelt. Cinderpelt touches the stone with her nose and passes out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part Fourteen: "All the shine of a thousand spotlights, all the stars we steal from the night sky.." Yellowfang and Cinderpelt are back in the medicine den, sitting next to each other. In the next shot, Yellowfang is replaced with Leafpaw. Cinderpelt smiles at her. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Fifteen: "Will never be enough, never be enough." The camp fills with badgers. Cinderpelt looks around frantically at all of the cats being attacked. She takes a couple steps backward, stunned. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part Sixteen: "Towers of gold are still too little, these hands could hold the world but it'll.." Cinderpelt runs into the nursery and sees Sorreltail breathing hard, as she is giving birth. She touches muzzles with her and lays down next to her. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Seventeen: "Never be enough, never be enough.. for me." Cinderpelt looks up to see a badger blocking the nursery exit. Her eyes fill with terror, but she shields Sorreltail with her body. The badger walks closer to them and Cinderpelt leaps, determined. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Part Eighteen: "Never, never.. never, never." The badger raises its paw and knocks Cinderpelt out of the air. She lands forcefully on the other side of the nursery and closes her eyes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Nineteen: "Never, for me.. for me.." She opens her eyes fiercely. She is breathing hard. Leafpool runs into the den and freezes, her tail lowering in shock. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Twenty: "Never enough.. never, never. Never enough.. never, never." Leafpool runs over to Cinderpelt and buries her face in her mentor's fur. She cries, gasping. Cinderpelt reaches out her paw and puts it on Leafpool's shoulder. She then lowers it and closes her eyes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Part Twenty-one: "Never enough.. for me, for me, for me.." Leafpool looks over to Sorreltail, who's kits are pressed to her belly. She looks at Leafpool appreciatively and points her muzzle to Cinderkit. Leafpool gasps and laughs with joy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Outro: "For me." Lionblaze places his chin on Cinderheart's head lovingly. Cinderpelt's spirit watches from the side and smiles approvingly. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
