Arrow keys to move This is not a game. And it's DEFINITELY not an art show. ;) READ THIS: I was younger when I made this project, and I think I've learned a lot since then. I want to clarify that I don't think platformers focusing on aesthetic appeal are bad in any way. Rather, my frustration when making this project was that not as many people were seeing or being motivated to make more gameplay-focused platformers because the popular and trendy thing was to make platformers that focused more on aesthetic appeal or a visual theme of some sort. I'm not on scratch that much anymore, so I don't know what kind of platformers people are playing now. I think that there are lots of different reasons people would want to make a platformer, and whether that's to make a fun game or to display cool artwork, it's not my place to judge people for doing one or the other. I don't want to tell you all what kind of platformers to like or what kind of platformers to make. I think it'd be nice if gameplay-oriented platformers were more popular (and who knows, maybe they are, like I said I'm not on that often), but either way it doesn't really matter to me. I think what matters more is that you guys make the kind of projects you want to see on scratch. Anyways, I just wanted to say that all to clarify some of my thoughts about this project and platformers in general and give you guys more insight into how the way I see things has changed.
