Backstory: Aventurine and Emerald were siblings and best friends. Their father was the leader of their Tribe. Therefore, he had many enemies. He, however, was undefeated. So another leader (Pyrite) who was angry with him for killing his mate knew he had to get revenge a different way. He kidnapped Aventurine. Emerald swore he would save his sister. When he finally found her, it was too late. She was already dead. Feeling as if he had failed, he curled up next to her dead body and fell asleep. He never woke up again. However, he was happy, for he had found his sister. The CCE is when they met in the Tribe of the Endless Home (basically their afterlife).
