This is inspired by the really cool poem "Differences, Changes, and Choices" by @1650199 . This is a sci-fi poem, set roughly 5 billion years in the future; mankind could have long ago become a space-faring race, living among many different solar systems throughout the galaxy, and maybe even the whole universe. The sun will have reached old age and swollen up into a red giant, consuming all evidence of its inner planets. Although they could have been exploring the stars for billions of years, mankind would have yet to discover another planet as perfectly suited to housing human life as Earth will have once been. I decided to rhyme in this one, so as to match with the poem that inspired it. I chose a mix ABAB and ABCB rhyme pattern.
