"Duh, the forest, we're less likely to be seen when we're hidden by plants," "Alright, forest it is," he nodded and headed in the direction of the forest About an hour later they were deep in the forest and had found a good place to shelter under a large tree "This seems like an okay spot, these roots are huge and this little hollow dug underneath them is big enough to fit the two of us and some food, plus I think there's a lake nearby," Keith said happily, putting Pidge down in the hollow "Great, one question though, how am I going to get to the lake?" Pidge asked and raised an eyebrow "Uh, well- I mean I could carry you? But for someone so short you're heavy-" "Hey my weight is normal! You just have weak arms," "I'd disagree but I never really participated in the arm strength building training regime so you're probably right-" "Mhm," she nodded and crossed her arms "You better find out how to fix this predicament- oh and also get me some food, I'm hungry," "Ugh, okay, I'll be back in at least half an hour, if anything tries to attack you just... Uh... Play dead I guess," "Really, you're supposed to be a tough, strong Galra solider and your only solution to being attacked is 'play dead'? Gosh I'm going to die within the first hour of being here-" "Oh come on, you'll survive at LEAST two hours, the big angry carnivores will be going for me first because unlike you, I have muscle, and I'm tall," Keith said, sounding very smug "Anyways, I'll be back soon, just stay put," he walked off into the forest, being hidden by foliage within seconds The sounds of the planet's wildlife became clearer and Pidge curled into a ball, whimpering quietly "Please be back soon-" she whispered and closed her eyes A little while later Keith came back to the hollow, dragging a strange looking dead animal behind him he put the animal down, looked into the hollow and poked Pidge "Hey I'm ba-" Pidge screeched and punched him in the face "GET AWAY FROM ME I'M NOT FOOD!" it took her a few moments to realise it was Keith just making sure she was alive "Wait a second- oh my god I'm so sorry- I thought you were some big animal-" "It's fine- I've been hit in the face with metal before, a little bit of skin, bone and muscle is nothing compared to that," Keith shrugged "Anyways, you said you were hungry, I brought food," he motioned to the carcass "All we need is a fire to cook it on and we'll be able to eat it," "Neat, I leave that duty to you, you survival nerd," "Ha ha, very funny," He said sarcastically and smiled "I'll get right to it," -End of chapter 4- Wheeee I don't know what to write hereeeeeeeee uh yeah idk-
