Click or hit any key to move forward. Use the left arrow key to move backward. This is my attempt at Vector art. It's pretty good (albeit the eyes are a tad creepy), but took WAAAAY too much time and effort for the quality it produced. Plus, I can't draw hands, so if I was to use this, my hands would always have to be in my pockets or behind my back or off-screen, but I gesture when I talk so that wouldn't work out very well for animations or anything. Still, I figured you guys might like to see, or maybe even do something with it, so I'm publishing it for y'all. I think I'll stick with what I'm good at, pixel art and stickmen, since I can do both well much more quickly (and with higher quality) than this. I'm sure, like anything, I'll get better with practice. Maybe later, I'll get used to vector, but for now I still prefer bitmap when drawing people. Let me know what you think in the comments, and if I get a positive response, I'll try again with the hands and eyes and show you my progress.
This took about 2 hours. A low-level pixel art takes about 10 minutes. A high-quality pixel art takes about an hour. A stickman takes about 20 seconds. Another project with stickmen: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/303859126/
