[3] Stranded With the Enemy

WARNING- this fanfiction contains spoilers for Voltron: Legendary Defender, please only read it if you're okay with spoilers or have finished watching the show :) Previous chapter- https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/304849941/ Next chapter- https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/307658510/ The ship's warning siren began going off as it entered the atmosphere and a minute passed before it slammed into the planet and everything went quiet In Pidge's cell there was a bit of damage from the crash, but since it was relatively far away from the front of the ship no major damage had been done Keith had a couple of scratches on his face and armour but he was otherwise okay and had succeeded in shielding Pidge from any more damage "Pidge, you okay?" "Yeah, I'm fine, just a little spooked... What about you? Anything damage you to the point we're both stuck in here?" "Just a couple of scratches, nothing major," "Okay then, get up and let's get going, I don't wanna be stuck in this ship, just in case some big predatory animal comes along and decides we'd make a good breakfast," Keith nodded and got up, still holding Pidge, and walked out of the cell, heading for the nearest exit Pidge looked up at the roof, hoping to get a glimpse of what the atmosphere's colour was, and eventually there was a point where a large portion of the ship's roof was gone "Wow, the atmosphere is beautiful," "Really?" Keith asked, looking up "Oh wow, you're right," "I know- what I didn't know is that atmospheres come in green," "Well they do, the come in all sorts of colours actually," "Really? Wow!" Pidge gasped "Do you think I'll ever see other planets with different atmosphere colours?" "Not if I get you to the 'sister colony'," Keith said casually and Pidge slapped him "Rude! Not that I expected you to be kind or anything," "Owww- geez I was just speaking the truth, sorry if I hurt your precious feelings," he hissed "Oh shut up!" "Why don't you shut up for once, okay?! The moment you can walk again I'm going to get as far away from wherever I set up camp and setting up a new camp where I don't have to listen to you because you won't be there!" "Oh yeah? Well I'll be able to take care of myself just fine on my own once my feet heal!" "I don't doubt that! But you don't have any weapons, and therefore you're easy food for any predatory animal, actually your height would make you more of an appetiser before it goes looking for the big meal," "Like you, you're tall so you'd probably make a fine meal for some random predatory creature," "I- no I wouldn't-" "You so would," "Shut up shorty-" "Hah, you're scared now, aren't you?" "I'm not scared! Galra soldiers don't become scared," Keith huffed "You sure about that? Because you seem pretty scared," "I am NOT scared!" "You sure about that, is the widdle baby cat person scawed? Does he need his mama?" "Shut up or I'll leave you here to die," "Pfft, I doubt it, you'd come back for me an hour later, tops," "Oh yeah, what makes you think that?" "Well, you're pretty much hugging me right now, you asked if I was okay after the ship crash, and you didn't say that you wouldn't come back," she said, smiling smugly "I'm not hugging you, I'm just protectively carrying you, it's common sense to ask if someone's okay after a crash, even if they're an enemy, and I didn't say I wouldn't come back because I wanted to know why you thought I'd come back, so there" Keith huffed "Also look, we're at the exit," he motioned to a big hole in the wall and Pidge looked over to it, gasping in awe "Woah, it's beautiful outside! And way less dingy than in this ship," "The ship isn't dingy!" "Yeah it is, y'know, for space explorers you Galra don't seem to build your ships with a lot of space," "This is just a dropship! I'll have you know fleet ships are huge," "Eh, show me a fleet ship and I'll believe you," "Yeah, yeah, whatever, anyways, guess we should go outside and find a good place to set up camp?" "You betcha," Pidge nodded "Alright then, let's go," -End of chapter 3- Wheee another chapter is done, was gonna do this yesterday but wifi problems made it impossible [I could come online but on a diff computer w/o all my art files] Anyways, this is a kidge fanfic, the difference between this and Pelicans We is that the relationship builds up over time instead of already being a thing, also there's more fights between the two, but they'll stop eventually, I'm the only one who knows when eventually is though, it could be next chapter, it could be three chapters later, who knows
