The Broken Chapter Chapter 1 ✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦ At 1:00 am, Wildflower heard Red come into her apartment. Wildflower was blasting music and didn't know what was happening. Red normally was late, if it was to a meeting, late to turn in a map part sometimes it even ment late at night. So Red coming home at such a ghastly hour wasn't anything new. Wildflower continued working, managing to finish a couple pieces but then grew tired at around 2:00 am. Wildflower shut off the laptop and padded over to her bed. After working so hard sleep was waiting for her and soon she was dreaming sweet dreams. CRASH Wildflower woke tension rising from her back she checked all her things nothing... What was it? She thought still prickling. Maybe it was Red. She turned to look at the clock 5:00 am. Sleep hung heavy in her eyes and the bed was reaching out to her, but she resisted. Wildflower stepped tentatively toward the door looking behind her to make sure she didn't miss any large crashing objects. But there was none. Working up her courage she opened the door. Creeping down the concrete steps she noticed Red's door was wide open. With a gasp she sprinted down into apartment 2A. She peered inside. Red was asleep on her bean bag. Her desk was messy with papers laying all over the floor even a few on her bed. Red was breathing her side lifting in tired sucks then lowering with a long sigh. Wildflower jabbed her in the ribs. "RED!" Wildflower hopped up on the bed jabbing her again "RED WAKE UP!" Red lifted her head her fur was ruffled looking around she lept up when she saw the knocked over dresser she let out a choked cry, she lept to her paws bouncing off the bed she opened the tiny broken drawer plucking small photos out of it. Wildflower could only recognized a few, Minou, Stripes, Dingo and Feather. And one photo of a person she didn't recognize but a the light blue face with a empty expression called to something a very old memory that she couldn't recall. Red let out another choked cry slapping the photos to the ground "The envelope!" she choked out "its GONE!" ✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦
