originally posted Apr 24 2019, I reshared it bc NOBODY IS BITING ON IT READ THEM ALL WELL!!!! I will add parts as they are entered! Not-yet-done parts just show the thumbnail for now. (I already made the intro and outro to tie it all together.) If you make edits to your part after you have already published it, be sure to leave a comment here so I will know to update the MAP! This MAP will be a Multiple Animator Project of the song High Hopes by Panic! at the Disco. For the animation, pick an unspoken-for part of the song, and make an animation to the music, showing you / your OC achieving their dreams (winning a medal, a rocket launch, becoming president, professional sports, building a dream house, etc) and/or working hard for your goals (doing things such as studying, taking tests, building things, practicing, etc). I would like to have an emphasis on big dreams! (but not impossile ones please, sorry.) Each part is 8-14 seconds. HOW TO APPLY: Make a comment that includes: The part you'd like, your idea for the part, the link to one or two of your other animations, and the codeword. (make your codeword sneaky! Don't make it obvious!) You don't need to be an amazing animator for this, but I need to see that you are beyond scratch-sprites gliding/teleporting level. I want you to make your own sprites for this. RULES: Nothing inappropriate!!! Only your own work! Don't recolor somebody else's! Please do your part! If one month goes by and I don't see your part, I will replace you with somebody else! The codeword is "goal." (it helps make sure that you read ALL the instructions. Please read on!) No more than 2 separate sprites (not counting backdrop), no more than 4 separate scripts (no code in the backdrop except the music, please). As a suggestion to keep size down, please try not to have more than 15 total costumes, if possible. (you can go over if needed, but please keep it low) You can make your own backdrops by the way, but please try to keep the backgrounds in the sprite costume as much as possible. My parts, 1 and 16, can act as examples. It does not have to be pixel-art! Use whatever art-style you feel most comfortable with! I hope to see some variety. (: Please try to stick with a similar color palette to the one I used! Gem tones, please no neon! Naming rules for sprites, costumes, backdrops: Sprites are [part number]A and [part number]B Costumes are [sprite name]-[costume number] Backdrops are [part number]-[backdrop number] (you don't NEED to follow these, but they will make my life WAY easier) For convenience sake, please make your parts by remixing this project so I don't have to hunt for them. Please remove all the parts except for yours, though! (Delete my sprites and backgrounds, and only play the music part that is given to you.)
