For the first two slides, click anywhere on the screen to continue through to the next slide. Then, you will be presented with a variety of buttons, each with an aspect of game-design as an art form. Click the buttons to see a description of each aspect; click the home button to return to the home-screen. Since all aspects are connected, for each slide I include the buttons for the four most closely-related topics. This can also function as a tutorial of sorts, teaching hints and tips for how to make games of your own! I hope you find it very helpful when creating your own projects! If this helps you, let me know! I'd like to see what you make! <3
This is my presentation for my Senior Project. I was racking my brain for what to do, and then I showed my mentor some of my games, and explained how I viewed my games as artwork. It was then that realized, I could use my work for my Senior Project! So, here is my presentation. I figure, I may as well share it with you, because you might find it useful or interesting. SCRATCH ON!!! This is the project I used for the example, Steven and the Umbrella. It was my first game, and it actually got featured on the Scratch home-page. It is a platformer, but with a very unique mechanic of my own invention. It's no griffpatch, but it's a pretty good example. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/291900205/
