Here's the completed, pretty long, prologue of my entry for @tornadoofegypt17's writing contest. Constructive criticism is more than welcome. Please enjoy this! In this chapter, you get introduced to the story's protagonist, Ebony. We get to learn a small bit about Winter and Basil, two members of a pack of dogs.
