My parents, knowing I'd die, summoned a demon and made a deal with her. Save their baby son, but he becomes a host to a demon. That demon was Mink, aka the bane of my existence. She's the reason I can't go home, why i'm missing a pupil in my left eye but can see, and why my right eye is so weird. We lived in a quaint Religious town, my parents keeping Mink's deal a secret to even me. I grew up through those years, thinking the voice in my head was my conscious. When The news of the demon using me as a host came to the light, two years ago, I started running. I didn't look back or stop. I arrived in another town where I started picking up the shreds of my old life, putting them together into Something new. Now i'm Varian, The famous running child. I've been on the run two years, and Mink keeps me alive. She's the voice in my head, the bane, but my only friend. She tells me when my family or people searching for me are near, sometimes controlling my actions. With each day she grows stronger, and she estimates by the time i'm 16, she'll be able to take full control. I'll keep training to try to hold her back."
