This is a beta version of a chatbot program. What it does: It will do most of the talking, you just read what it says and answer when it asks you something. The bar on the left shows the confusion level of the chatbot, who is manifestated as Scratch. It will scan your answers for words, and will change its responses accordingly. If you act depressed, chances are the chatbot will burst into tears. If you act like you're having the time of your life, Scratch might also smile. How it works: It has a bunch of if statements that check your responses for words that hint at your emotion or at your intelligence. A few variables and lists will keep things it knows about you stored for later use. If none of the if statements respond, the chatbot will become more confused and may begin saying meaningless statements. It may even explode if the confusion bar overloads. Tip: Keep your responses short to ease off on stress. Try to use simple words and not infuriate the chatbot. If it glitches, please comment on it and click the green flag to restart everything.
