Here's a hint. There is no way to open the bottle but you could Drink it. The lamp does not turn off and on. It's just always on. To try and make my project more fun I’ve fixed the typing problem, added floor lights in the cave, added some puzzles, and re-mixed others. The output from the help command varies based on the current game state. For example it will say something specific if you are with the pirate and it will say something different if you then use it a second time. This adventure, and my original one, are based on the original Colossal Cave adventure by Will Crowther and Don Woods. Update 5/17/2025: I've modified the program to use the Enter key. Thirteen years ago that was not an option and people had to use the down arrow to play.
