»»—————————— ♦️ ———————————«« ♦️ Welcome, I've recently realized I'm not comfortable with my gender identity, and I made a chest binder for myself, So I decided to make a project to help others make one so they are more comfortable with themselves! Below are notes about each method plus some safety, Please read it, I beg you. It will give you more data on each method and will tell you how to stay safe! ♦️ Cloth + Yarn Method: This one is my favorite, Heres pros and cons about it! Pros: Cons: -Easy to make -Gets hot -Conceals a lot -Takes a bit to get on and tie -Pretty Seamless -If tied wrong it can be a -Lasts a long while threat to your health -You can adjust it. ♦️ Sports Bra method Simple but effective, here are pros and cons! Pros: Cons: -Easy to make -Gets hot -Fast to get on -Doesn't Conceal as much -Decently Seamless -Doesn't last long -You don't have to -If you layer on too much or if pull it up. they aren't in the right size, it can be a threat to your health' ♦️ Shorts Method Not as effective but very simple, Pros and cons! Pros: Cons: -Easy to make -Gets hot -Fast to get on -Doesn't Conceal as much -Not as much as a -Doesn't last as long threat to your health -You have to pull it up a lot Extra Notes: -Don't wear any of these for more than 8 hours -Don't sleep with these on -If you tie these too tightly or layer on too much it can restrict your breathing and harm your ribs -Don't make a chest binder with ace bandages, it is very harmful to your health, no matter how desperate you are don't do it! -None of these are ideal and you should get an actual chest binder when you can. -Make sure you do your own research on this also, I am not an expert. -These may not work as well if you are pretty busty. -If I got anything wrong please tell me!
