Description

The Mayan Apocalypse predicted right. The Earth is doomed for destruction. But modern technology is our only hope of saving the Earth from its cataclysmic fate. As a last defense, 8 military satellites are orbiting the Earth, each equipped with a gamma laser, plenty of missiles and a self-destruct feature. The fate of mankind depends on your marksmanship skills... In this project, I combined the 3D effect from boaz4's tutorial for the satellites' movements around the Earth, the physics movement of missiles from my lunar lander project, and added a 3D .gif of the rotating earth, which all put together make for the perfect 3D game! ----------------------- High Score: Zro716 - 9150 (hard) Longest Survived: Zro716 - 452.437 (hard) Controls: -Use the mouse to aim at incoming asteroids, and click to fire the current weapon. If using missiles and Missile Controls 2, they will follow the mouse until touching the edges or an asteroid. -Press space to switch between gamma lasers and missiles. Gamma lasers are faster than missiles, but deal less damage than them. Missiles deal tons of damage, but are hard to control. -Press M to mute music or turn it back on. -If an asteroid touches one of the 8 satellites, it will self-destruct to destroy the asteroid, which you no longer can use that satellite. If all satellites are destroyed, well, the Earth is doomed. -Each asteroid scores depending on size. Bigger asteroids score the most. However, if an asteroid hits the Earth, the Earth's HP is deducted by the remaining health of the asteroid. -Increasing difficulty now increases the speed of the asteroid, the time new asteroids wait until showing, and allows bigger asteroids. It doens't affect HP, damage, or score of any sort. -When Earth's HP hits zero, all hope is lost, and Earth explodes. Music - Heart of Courage by TSFH (8-bit version) Cheesy sound effects made by me. No stealing this or Slenderman will follow you. Thank you, and have a wonderful 21st of December!
