Eyyy here's this I'm not gonna give context rn or tell you who the chars are whee- :' D im just being a tired butt and my shoulder is in paiN-- So oof take a guess- I'll write a story tmrrw once folks have guessed who these two are~ dA Version- https://www.deviantart.com/winterline13/art/You-ve-done-it-DD-164-790479031 Story: Milo stood on the stage with the rest of that year's entering Cadets. He was the youngest of them, the smallest too, but he'd proved himself with his parental figure's help. He was honestly so happy, this was a dream come true! He smiled brightly as each Cadet walked forward for a picture with Jacklyn, the leader of the Dimension Guardians at the time. He couldn't keep his smile off his face as he stood there, his mother figure behind him. The pride and excitement at the situation at hand just seemed to radiate off the small bean. And with a flash of the light, the picture was taken. //Fast Forward, 11 years later// A door opened, shedding light into the long abandoned storage room, simply marked "Jacky". Standing in the doorway was the 23 year old DG Leader, Milo Kavthur. He sighed shakily, stepping into the room and looking around. Ever since Jacklyn had disappeared, her storage room had been left untouched, as per his orders. He couldn't stand the thought of her stuff being messed with.. And now thick layers of dust lay atop every surface. He brushed the top of a box off and sneezed at the dust cloud, accidentally knocking the box off its pile and onto the floor in the process. "frick-!" He hissed, leaning down to scoop up all the photos that had fallen out. He stopped, seeing one particular photo. It was the most recent of them all, dated simply "3/20/19". 11 years ago.... He hadn't seen this photo in ten years. Apparently since then Jacklyn had written on it, and kept it in very good condition.. He was so short in the picture, it wasn't even able to get all of Jacklyn as she stood straight. Possibly the first of the two taken, the second he recalled had her kneeling so they'd both be seen. "You've done it bud. I'm so proud of you! ~MomaJacky <3" was written on it in white-out ink. The message caused the fox's breath to catch in his throat, his tail quivering under the emotional weight. He shook his head, clearing his thoughts as he shoved the photo back into the box and carefully returned the box to where it belonged. He didn't stay in the room much longer after that.
