The Velocity and Time Lab allows gathering velocity and time data that students can use to determine average acceleration, and estimate instantaneous acceleration using slopes of the graph. They can also estimate how far the cars have traveled by finding the area under the velocity versus time curve. In this lab, we have only accelerometers for our two cars, and we want to be able to estimate how fast the cars are moving, and how far they travel.
