Instructions

this is an arpeggiator synth that lets you see musical relationships visually. Press a tile (and hold it) to start an arpeggio sequence on that note. Use the "arp delay" slider to change how quickly the notes change to change the arpeggio sequence: 1. either, press SPACE while your base note is highlighted. or, click on the little circular ball icon, then drag to the tile you want to use as the base. 2. a bunch of tiles will be small/transparent, these are part of the sequence. the last note in the sequence will be slightly less transparent. to DELETE the last note in the sequence: click this tile. to ADD new notes to the sequence: click any other tile. 3. either press space, or click on the ball icon (now yellow) to return to the normal mode, of making music.

Description

The notes increase by +1 and +3 for adjacent squares in the \\ and // directions. I made this synth based on one called 'HOWL' that I tried out on my iPhone -- http://protonome.com/apps/howl/ thanks to them for the inspiration!
