Instructions

Double click the flag, and watch this water lizard come to life! My experiences with Scorbunny luckily made transferring the costumes to 3.0 significantly easier. Despite the fact that this speedpaint contained 21 more costumes, I learned not to add coding before I transfer. Also, don't call me lazy for recycling some coding, I just wanted some uniformity in my speedpaints... :3

Description

The music, Sobble, Pokemon Sword and Shield, and Pokemon as a franchise belong to Gamefreak/The Pokemon Company. Coding, art, and basically everything else was done by yours truly. (@cedpath) So... is this proof enough to you Sobble fans that I, despite being one of the "Scorbunny Gangsters", am not totally against Sobble...? I'll be perfectly honest, I, like many, absolutely adore Sobble, almost equally as much as Scorbunny. If it wasn't for Scorbunny's design and uniqueness, I definitely would've gone for Sobble. While it's far from the first Water-type amphibian, I definitely love it's disappearing ability. I also think this was a nice little experiment, because unlike Scorbunny, this was also an interesting challenge. While, at face value, Scorbunny had a more unique and challenging border shape, its white coat made highlighting difficult. But with Sobble, I was able to do a lot of experimentation with lighting, especially on the eyes. If you haven't noticed, aside from refining my art style, I'm also trying to change the way I color in eyes, and I really like the way Sobble's eyes turned out! Also, please don't pressure me to make a Grookey speedpaint. It's not that I don't like Grookey, it's just that after these two speedpaints, I really don't feel that motivated at the moment...
