- ᴛ ʜ ᴇ ᴛ ʜ ɪ ꜱ ɪ ꜱ ᴍ ᴇ ᴍ ᴀ ᴘ ! - After several long months, I present to you the MAP! I picked this song because my class sang this for our graduation last year, and in memory of that, I decided to see what the Scratch community thinks about the statement "this is me". So, thanks to all the MAPs I watched, the MAP tutorials I followed, and the animation videos on YouTube, I formatted the open MAP back in December 2018. Notice how that was before Scratch 3.0 came out! The first part (by @claPlay) was made using the original Scratch 2.0 editor, and so was @DogWaffleCat's. @scratchj7 asked for his part before 3.0, but shared it with me after 3.0's release, so I'm assuming that half of his part was 2.0 and half of it was 3.0 XD. But hey, we've got a dash of Scratch history in here too, right? The rest of the parts were 3.0-made, giving them a new interface. The first 100% 3.0 part was created by @The_Diamond_starr, and then the rest of the parts followed. I apologize to the few Scratchers who asked for a part but were unable to finish it, it means so much to me that you tried <3. I would say that this MAP was open to everyone, regardless of their skills in animation, that's why the variety is so large. Perhaps next time, I'll make a MAP with a certain style..we'll see.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). After I opened the thumbnail contest, @-Mr-Animator- submitted the first thumbnail. Then, the other thumbnails came along, and after some long days of deciding, I congratulate @ChiaJia for winning and having her thumbnail displayed on the MAP! Tons of support came from you people who gave me suggestions or kept asking when the MAP would be finished. These two friends from school (@twinkleword and @elementalpenguinlord) did the "kept asking when the MAP would be finished" part pretty well.. XD. This song from The Greatest Showman promotes perseverance toward your dreams and how nobody can let you down. You are who you perceive yourself to be, you choose what you are, and nobody can force you to change. You are special and beautiful, you're 1 in 7.8 billion. Everyone should be equally respected, loved, and acknowledged, regardless of their race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation. I've had a lot of fun over these 6 months, and I'm definitely looking forward to hosting another MAP!
