Instructions

Well, this took longer than expected. This is a Mario Platform Game Engine I made to test if I could handle making a large scale, open map with scrolling transitions. I consider it to be a success, but as I toyed around with it more, I found myself having more fun making the assets for Mario and the Enemies in his games, so I decided to share it! If you want to use any of the assets, go ahead! Just remember to give me credit. This game features every enemy from the original NES Super Mario Bros, bar Koopa Paratroopas. Controls: Arrows, X, Z

Description

Sound effects come from various sources. Mario and all related rights belong to Nintendo. All sprites drawn by me, 321RetroGamer. Music from Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Land 2, with covers by LegendOfRenegade and Gilvasunner on Youtube. With the exception of GOBOISCOOL-'s Dreamland Engine, all coding work was done by me.
