ROVER Come in. The door opens. We see the K9 police dog (chief) with the eyewitness of a crime (Vids) CHIEF Hello, Mr. Puff. We've yet another mystery for you. Rover lights his bone cigarette and takes out a notebook. ROVER Mm-hmm... Tell me. VIDS It's the stack of bones I got for you! They're gone! Rover spits out his cigarette in shock. ROVER This is the most important mystery ever! We must find my bones! Rover, Cheif and Vids are seen at the crime scene. They are standing outside Vid's house where the usually full plate of bones was empty. ROVER Everyone! Search for clues! Vids finds a trail of paw prints. VIDS Hey, look! Prints! They all gather 'round VIDS So, the prints start from your bed, Rov, and they lead to the piano and they go towards the carpet and... stop. CHIEF That's weird. They stop at the carpet... but hey! There's another trail! Chief points at another muddier trail. Vids and Rover examine the trail while Chief puts K9 police tape around the plate of bones. ROVER They start from... hey! Someone's been playing in my mud pit! Chief! Put tape around my pit, please! VIDS They start from the mud pit and they go in sort of a loop, and go back to the plate! ROVER Oh no! I think I've solved it! Vids and Cheif look at him. VIDS You mean 'yay!'... right? Rover rushes to his office in fright. (A few minutes later) Vids knocks on the door VIDS Rover, sausage! Are you okay? Open up! Rover opens the door and blurts out! ROVER So I woke up in the morning and you were playing the piano. I sat next to you for a while and you TOLD me not to eat the bones! I wiped my feet on the carpet and went outside to the mud pit. I got up and went to the plate and I ATE THE BONES!!! Vids and Chief gasp.
