Transcript: Oh! Ha ha ha, didn’t see you come in! See, I was banging my head against the wall cause of microaggressions. Some people get offended really easily… See, microaggressions are usually not intentional. For example, one time my parents and our family friends were on a hike. At the time, our friends were living on one side of a freeway - one with a lot of scrub-bush. And a lot of sun. My parents were hiking on the other side, where there was a lot of shade and pretty evergreen trees. My mom was admiring the pretty trees and she said, “It’s so pretty! I would love to live on this side!” That’s all she said. However, our family friends took offense because they thought she was implying that their side wasn’t good enough. It’s these little things that are usually not meant to offend someone. That’s microaggressions! And believe me, it’s easy to make these kinds of mistakes. Just remember, think about what you want to say before you say it! You might end up offending someone. I didn’t mean to imply that, scratch person!
