Here's the corgi I drew about a week ago. Well, I painted it in my art class. Here's its progress, from sketch to work in progress. Press the 1 key: This is the initial sketch for the painting, which I was extremely proud of. Backstory behind the drawing: we were allowed to paint anything, so I chose a dog. I started looking at references and drawing them, and then I realized that one drawing kind of looked like a corgi. So that's exactly what I turned the dog into. Press the 2 key: This is stage one of painting. In this picture, the painting looks awful. This is the point where many artists ( or maybe just me ) hate their paintings. It was just some paint slapped on, and I wasn't even sure how to save this from terribleness. It's awful.. Press the 3 key: This is the final step, but also not at the same time. The painting isn't finished, but the dog is. I'm planning on adding a background. This corgi looks amazing to me and I'm not sure how I saved it from the first stage. Of course, I'd have to thank the power of the outliner. That's about it for now, I'll add more about the painting's progress when I finish it. Please enjoy!
