Description

Everyone knows that Pi is the ratio of the circumference to the diameter of a circle. The ratio holds true for any circle. There is a similar irrational number, called Phi, that is true for any rectange with a length to width ratio of 1.61803… If the width of such a rectangle is taken as the side of a square and that square is removed from the rectangle, the resulting smaller rectangle is itself in golden ratio! The arc of each square is then drawn to produce a spiral. The scripts contains a Circle [center, radius, arc] script that draws the spiral. The development of this script is explained in detail in a 5-part series that can be seen www.scratch-blog.com.
