She was carried away, though some cats tried to rescue her. Jaypaw's father was wounded with grief for her, and he was never the same brave warrior he used to be. A couple moons later, Jaystrike became a warrior during Leaf-Bare, while most of his Clan were ill with greencough. His mother was one of them. She died along with a few others a week later. Jaystrike is still haunted by his nightmare-ish past...
