Check them out! - Harry Potter. Start with the beginning, and continue through. If you haven't read this yet, you're missing a classic. A fantasy about a boy with a scar and a destiny. - Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (not appropriate for younger readers) A teenage criminal mastermind assembles a group to break into a prison that's impossible to breach. Excellent world building and excellent characters. Also recommended (for teen readers!) - The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater Blue's always been told that if she kisses her true love, he'll die. And then she meets his ghost, which either means she'll kill him or he's her one true love... also there's prep school boys and Latin. Wonderful read. - Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi A wonderful escapist fantasy that's about power and race. Magic once abounded in this land... but they killed it all, and now Zelie has to bring it back. ask me for more, non-fantasy suggestions if you'd like them! I love recommending books!
