Today I decided to create some background for my new main OC and fursona, Queen Karma. I will tell her suuuppperrr long and complicated backstory. So go grab some popcorn and soda and be ready to stay a while. Karma lives in a large continent. There are many separate kingdoms for this land. There is the fire kingdom, the water kingdom, the nature kingdom, the sky kingdom, and the ice kingdom. Karma's mother was a young and very pretty fire wolf named Fawn. Her father, however, was very different. He was a bold, tough, prince of the water kingdom. Meaning Karma was a hybrid. Her father was never named to her. Fawn killed Karma's father, passing it off as an accident. With her strange bloodline, she was given two powers. Fire wolves were known to be very resilient to heat and flames. Karma, however, was completely immune to fire and could breathe underwater. When she went outside of her den, she was stared at. The others whispered about her. They spread malicious gossip and rumors. There was also the princess at the time, Princess Magma. She and Karma grew to be great friends by the time they started classes. Karma worked extra hard, always going the extra mile to impress the others and make them forget about her mixed bloodline. She worked extra hard to become the top of her classes in EVERYTHING. She was the best at flying, the best at handling fire (though her abilities helped with that), and the best at remembering the important dates for history classes. Even the queen at the time started taking notice of her extraordinary skill and intelligence. Princess Magma started getting envious of Karma, furious that her own mother was comparing her to Karma, a HYBRID of all things. They still stayed fast friends though. She graduated top of every single class. She had skills comparable to Queen Flicker herself! That was when she met many new wolves. Including a young male named Flame. He was very clingy toward her and was always following her around and asking if she needed anything, and begging to be her friend. She was very annoyed by this. Eventually, others started scolding her for being "rude" and "ungrateful" toward Flame. She was very angry with this and told him to "go away" multiple times to get other wolves off her back about it. He continued to bother her, and at this point was swinging from hating her and throwing shade her way to begging her to be his mate. Magma was sick with envy that this other wolf was begging to be Karma's mate. She was very angry. They got into a huge fight about how the other was spoiled rotten. Crazed with anger, Karma challenged Magma for her position as Princess. Fear and anger driving her, Magma arose victorious over the green and black wolf. Defeated and humiliated, she was driven away from the kingdom of fire. Her birthplace. Her home. She was forced into the life of a loner. She stumbled into the kingdom of ice. More specifically, the part of it where loners roamed. She was traveling through that wasteland for almost three days before coming across a fire with several different loners around it. There is were she met Scythe. He was a snow-white wolf with large bat wings and a streak of spiky red fur down his back. They got along perfectly. And by that I mean they threw passive-aggressive remarks toward each other for the whole ten minutes they spoke. Karma traveled through the rest of the ice kingdom, eventually coming into the beautiful forests of the nature kingdom. That was when she learned about her second power. She had always felt a strange attraction to water. She knew she was part water-wolf, but she had no idea she would be able to breathe underwater. It was when she was taking a drink of water and a violent loner tried to drown her. She tried gasping for air and to her massive surprise, it worked. She fought her way to the surface and fought her attacker away. She wandered around the nature kingdom for a while. Two years, actually. When she eventually went away to the rolling hills of the sky kingdom, she met up with Scythe again. They spoke about a lot of things and she learned he was a former member of the water kingdom. She decided if she can't live in her home of the fire kingdom, she could live in her other home. She begged him to take her to the water kingdom. He, reasonably, asked a lot of questions. She sheepishly has to explain that she was a hybrid and had two different powers. He finally agreed after that and took her to a large bridge. Across it was the water kingdom. He told her he couldn't come, considering he had been banished from there forever. She was surprised by how upset she was about this and crossed the bridge. She explained her situation to King Minnow, and he agreed to let her live there. She was happy for a little bit, able to swim all she wanted and explore the various coral reefs. Something inside of her felt missing, however. When a bonfire got out of control, setting a palm forest on fire, (cont in notes and credits)
she realized how much she missed the fire kingdom, and decided to head back after 6 years as a loner. She found Scythe in the ice kingdom again and told him about her plan. He strongly advised against it, telling her that a queen or king never forgot a criminal. She didn't listen to this and headed for the fire kingdom anyway. He reluctantly told her he was coming as well. When she entered the kingdom, no one stopped her at first. People actually welcomed her. Flame watched her from afar. While she was wading in a lake of lava, Magma found her. That it, Queen Magma. She was furious to see Karma strutting about like she owned the place. Queen Magma threw her into a prison, and she learned she had been mind-controlling her guards with her large scorpion tail. Karma learned how envious Magma had been when everyone practically worshipped Karma for her intelligence. Karma was stuck in there until Scythe came in and saved her, picking the lock open. Her flank was scraped by Magma's tail, so she was sort of half-mind controlled. She eventually was driven to walk right back to Magma. She was almost full under her control. Magma, being very spiteful, forced her to try and kill Scythe. She almost succeeded, but Karma broke free at the last second. Everyone was watching when Karma turned on her childhood friend, turned violent tyrant. They both fought all day, with Karma winning by tackling Magma into the lava, holding her there longer then any fire wolf could handle. She became Queen Karma of the fire kingdom with her new mate, King Scythe. Woop woop the end
