We're reading "The Odyssey" by Homer in our English class, and our teacher told us to act out the part where Odysseus is in the underworld and talking to the dude that fell off the roof (I can't remember his name) and he called on Ryland, Logan, and me, so we all went up there to act out the scene. Ryland was the dead guy, and Logan was Odysseus. Ryland: *puts his hand on Logan's shoulder* My boy. We all started laughing because it was real awkward. They finished the scene, and then we did the part where Odysseus' mom talks to him and it went like this: Me: Son, you gotta go save everybody, because we're all suffering, except me cuz I'm dead. Anyway, go save the world and get home before dinnertime or you're grounded.
Oh, and a few of my classmates and I all decided to play this video: https:// https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXduQAx43PQ in unison because it's been a reoccurring joke in English for a while now. One of my classmates will turn the volume up all the way at the beginning (YOOOUUUUU), and then just keep it quietly playing throughout class.
