I COULD NOT THINK OF ANYTHING AT ALL TO DRAW!!! LIFE WAS TERRIBLE!! So I finally gave up and decided to draw someone from my basketball team. I went through maybe two sketches and 2.5 hours worth of screen time until I finally found a design I liked. I’m pretty proud of how well it turned out! ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~- Kenley is a cute little 6th grader on my basketball team that I decided to draw. She’s so perfect and reminds me of myself, so I meant to make it as perfect as I could but also a bit cartoony. Just the tiniest hint, though, what did you expect?!? I’m an anime artist. XD ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~- So at our second practice, as I was telling Kenley how I was drawing her because I had art block, she interrupted and was like, “Yeah, I hate when that happens!!” And I was like, “Wait, you’re an artist?” And she was like, “Yeah.” ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~- We had a good conversation about what we liked to draw. She said she liked drawing people the most but she was trying to teach herself how to draw still life. She’s in a grade below me and it was only our second practice together, so I didn’t know her very well! ;) But she never actually answered me to whether or not I could draw her, but I’m pretty sure no one would turn that down! x) ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~- Phew! The background for this drawing didn’t take very long after all, but it did take some more patience. @ipzy took a look at my art and told me I should start making some more backgrounds on my drawings, so I made this one extra good just for her. <3 Thanks for your advice, @ipzy! ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~- Make sure to love and favorite before you leave!
