He was part of the Heart hatching, a group of eggs all from the same parents, all marked by a black heart. After hatching, he and his siblings quickly learned from the strongest two Pokemon in AngelKat's collection what was expected of them. Some would be raised to become great competitive Pokemon, and some would be traded away. Those that showed the most promise were less likely to be sent away. In his hatching, Believer and two of his brothers were the only ones with the hidden ability they inherited from their father. The other two brothers were Nachtara and Fate. One day, when Believer was 5 years old, he went to his father and asked him about their mother. His father hesitated and then told him: "You don't have a mother, I was bread with a ditto so my hidden ability had a chance to pass down to you, Nachtara, and Fate". Believer was crushed after that day and one year later, after he'd evolved and gotten his Quick Fang as an evolution present from Nachtara, he decided to find the Ditto who was his 'mother'. All he knew about them, was that they had an everstone. When he found them, one of the first questions he asked was "Why you?".
