As a little kitten, he was found in their territory, calling for a mother he never knew, and had evidently abandoned him. Ankh adopted him as a son and took care of him, but all Reke's life he had to put up with the persistent tribe members who thought he didn't belong. However, contrary to their beliefs, Reke grew up to become a resourceful, clever and agile cat, winning over some of the hardest hearts in the tribe. He was the first to recognise a terrible danger to the tribe awakening, and led it to safety. They were safe for a while, but the leader, Kal, had lost confidence and the tribe was solely relying on Reke. But the evil caught up to them, and they were slaughtered. Reke and Kal survived, but Ankh and the rest were all dead. The two survivors then joined the Resistance, the only force left against the evil, as the Tribe of Rushing Rivers was the last to topple. Reke now looks after his leader whilst leading attacks against the evil's forces. -------------------------------------------------------------------------
