Drag the wire and the battery in place to turn on the bulb. There are 2 wires. The second one wil pop out after the first one is correctly placed. You won't be able to turn on a light without the wires and the batteries connected/inserted. When both the wires and the batteries are connected/inserted, push the lever to turn on the bulb.
