In the late 80's and early 90's, the 280GT was the car of would-be Ubermacht and Benefactor owners who either considered themselves more exotic or had a strong affinity for standing on the side of the road with a generous amount of smoke pouring out of the bonnet of their car. Now that you can pick them up for the price of a Declasse Asea (repair costs not counted) it's time to put yourself into the gullible fold of people who think it's a bargain.
