After 3 years, my GBA emulator is finally complete; you can finally play GBA games on Scratch! WARNING: due to the limitations of Scratch, you can only reach 2-3 frames per second after it boots. I'm sorry, but Scratch simply wasn't designed for emulation. It was enough of a challenge to build this at all. Thank you for understanding. Update: added on-screen controls for mobile users. What is GBAwesome? This project is an emulator for GameBoy Advance (GBA) and Game Boy Color (GBC). I've included a ROM of Mario Kart Super Circuit, and it will boot the game when you click the green flag. In the case that you want to upload a different ROM, I've included instructions in the comments in the "Upload" sprite. ROMs must be in .gba or .gbc format to convert correctly.
If you decide to import your own ROM (instructions above), please make sure you have legally obtained it. I don't support piracy.
