Description

Follow the RokCoder YouTube channel for Scratch tutorials and videos! See full game playthrough here: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/kTEbhj2v50U/ Please read the instructions and the FAQ before you post any questions or issues - there are videos (GIFs) in the FAQ that show how each stage can be completed! All credit for the original game goes to Nintendo. This is based on the original but is not an exact copy - it's meant as a homage to an absolute classic. The play area is 224x256 to give it the same dimensions and aspect ratio as the original arcade game. Note that it now defaults to a scaled-up 316x360 display but has a zoom on/off button to allow the original unscaled version to still be played. To do: - Diagonal and zig-zag barrel paths - Add more Kong animations - Extra life Bugs to fix (as noted by @nyaonyao): - If alarm of time rings when jumpman gets to a goal, the alarm sound does not stop - at the conveyer belt stage, two ladders still remain at the next scene. I think they are movable ladders - at the conveyer belt stage, after jumpman gets to a goal, a new fire sometimes generates while donkey runs away. If the fire climbs a ladder and hits him, he dies. #retro #arcade #games #mario #description(Donkey Kong was originally released to the arcades by Nintendo in 1981. It featured Jumpman who later became known as Mario. This is my remake of that classic game and is as close to to the original as I could make it.)
