Soooo this is a thing, so, um, I don't know, take it. This was just originally supposed to just be a sketch, but I saw this and wanted to enter. That's why I included a palette. Name: King (The King of Cards) Gender: Male Species: Not quite sure yet, but probably a coywolf Backstory: King was, needless to say, broke. He had moved out west, opening to make it big, and while he had the charm and wits, it just wasn't working out for him. So, he took some desperate measures. He looked for...unorthodox ways to finally get somewhere. Eventually, he found a map inside of a old, dusty book in a library. It looked ancient, and was so faded he could barely read it. Barely. It lead to a cave out in the middle of the desert. It was covered in art made by ancient natives. It spoke of many things, but what interested King most was the gods. He enjoyed the tales. But these stories were of no use to him. Or so he thought. As he moved to leave, King encountered one of these gods, this one called Coyote. The details of the encounter aren't important. But at the end, and after much convincing, King made a deal with Coyote. With that, King headed to a small town just as the sun broke the sky. He opened a casino/inn in this town. And finally, he found success. He became rich. He was known to never lose. But at what cost?
